Blairbeth Golf Club
Welcome to Blairbeth Golf Club.
Blairbeth is a traditional welcoming Scottish golf club situated below the escarpment of Cathkin Braes, on the southern edge of Scotland's largest city, Glasgow. From the clubhouse and many parts of the course, the golfer is presented with magnificent views extending to the east, the north and the west. On view is a panorama of the history of Glasgow through the ages, from the12th. Century Cathedral with its green copper roof, westwards to Victorian splendour of Glasgow University and the modern silver tower in the Science Park. The three main football stadia in the city are all visible Parkhead, Ibrox, and Hampden Park. On playing the course, golfers when looking eastwards, will see over the old industrial towns of North Lanarkshire, as far as the Kilsyth Hills and Harthill. Gazing northwards over Glasgow, are the Campsie Fells and the Kilpatrick Hills. Beyond, lie the Highlands and the distant peaks of Ben Lomond and Ben More. Looking westwards following the River Clyde to Dumbarton, the hills of Argyle, Ben Arthur and the summit of Goat Fell on the island of Arran are all clearly visible.
