The Glens course, not as demanding as the Old Course, but beware, you will still need to think your way around the course to avoid trouble.
The Glens may not be as demanding but still offers a comprehensive challenge for all levels of golfer. The absence of water on the course is adequately compensated by tight narrow fairways and a closing stretch with a sting in the tail. The 14th hole onwards meanders through Angus woodland, a natural defence of intimidating narrow treelined fairways, culminating at the deceptive par 3 18th.
