Pitlochry Golf Club
Since the year 1909, Pitlochry's 18-hole (5,811 yds) course has provided one of Scotland's most scenically appealing golf courses. The golf course is situated only two miles from the geographic centre of Scotland, and is surrounded by some of Scotland's most beautiful, natural countryside. Click here for more information on Pitlochry Golf Club.
Montrose Golf Links - Medal Course

Montrose's 18-hole (6,544 yds) Medal Course is the fifth oldest course in the world and as such is a traditional links with undulating fairways and some holes lined with whins and gorse. There are no blind holes at Montrose so you can appreciate each hole from the tee and enjoy some lovely scenery on the way. Click here for more information on Montrose Golf Links - Medal Course.
Pro's Tip of The Month
Long Irons
The long iron swing should be one of a free flowing design. Once again, the emphasis should be connecting properly with the ball. The loft of the clubface will determine how the ball flies – not your hands. Allow a natural, loose swing to develop and let the club do its job. A good tip to help with the striking of the long irons successfully is to place two tee pegs in the ground 6 inches either side of a ball at address. When swinging the iron in question, knock out both tees with a low sweeping action. This will let the clubface pick the ball up cleanly from a proper angle of attack.
